Sarah Gwanu, Audit Manager, EY Dublin | Former PwC UK | International Big Four Professional
Ng’andu Sarah Gwanu is a seasoned audit professional and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), currently working as an Audit Manager at EY Dublin. With over a decade of experience across Zambia, the UK, and Ireland, Sarah brings deep cross-border insight and leadership to the audit profession.
Having trained with EY and progressed to management roles at PwC UK, Sarah has led audits for large listed and privately held companies across sectors including manufacturing, telecoms, mining, construction, energy, transportation, and pharmaceuticals. She is known for managing complex engagements with teams of up to 15 members, spanning core audit teams and technical specialists.
In December 2024, Sarah made the move from Leeds to Dublin with the support of Think Global Recruitment. Since joining EY Ireland, she has embraced new industries, new clients, and a new audit culture — all while navigating the nuances of Irish weather, settling into shared accommodation, and reconnecting with a Zambian community in her new home.
Praised for her strong technical skills, calm leadership style, and commitment to team development, Sarah is passionate about continuous learning. Her recent engagements in Ireland span technology, construction, and pharmaceuticals — each offering fresh challenges and insights that have deepened her professional growth.
