gette Mncwabeis a globally experienced Accountant with SAICA (AGA-SA) and Certified Internal Auditor (P1) with over 15 years of high-impact internal audit and risk advisory experience across Africa, the U.S., Australia, and now Bermuda. She currently serves as Manager of Risk Advisory Services at PwC Bermuda, where she delivers tailored SOX and risk solutions to major players in the insurance and reinsurance sectors — navigating Bermuda’s unique regulatory environment, including BMA and BSCR reporting.
With a career spanning multinational organisations, including EY, RSM, AB InBev, and Sedibelo Platinum Mines, Bridgette has led critical initiatives in internal audit transformation, IPO readiness, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance, and systems implementation across various sectors, such as mining, government, healthcare, and financial services.
Standout achievements mark her leadership journey: from winning major internal audit tenders in her first months at RSM Perth, to re-engineering offboarding processes in a mining company, to serving as Risk & Audit Committee Chairperson for the Association for Skills Development in South Africa.
Bridgette has been supported in both of her recent international career moves by Think Global Recruitment — first from South Africa to RSM in Perth, and most recently to PwC Bermuda.
