The Role Working within a specialist US tax team, you will support global financial services clients with complex compliance and advisory matters. The role offers exposure to some of the most sophisticated investment structures in the industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing US tax returns for partnerships and corporate entities
- Working with forms such as 1065, 1120, K-1 and related filings
- Supporting hedge funds, private equity funds and asset management clients
- Analysing financial data to identify tax implications and opportunities
- Advising clients on regulatory and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with managers, directors and partners on complex engagements
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development
- Using advanced tools and technology, including tax software, analytics and modelling platforms
While the role is primarily US tax compliance-focused, there will also be opportunities to contribute to advisory projects and complex structuring work as you progress. Ideal Profile We are interested in professionals who want to combine technical excellence with an international career move. Ideal candidates will have:
- US Tax experience within a professional services firm is essential
- Experience preparing or reviewing 1065, 1120 or partnership tax filings
- Exposure to asset management, hedge funds, private equity or partnerships
- CPA, EA, or Masters in Taxation
- Experience within Big Four, Top 10 or strong mid-tier firms
- Strong analytical and client communication skills
- Candidates should have gained experience based in relevant markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore
