The Opportunity We are seeking a US Tax Manager to join an established but growing practice in Bermuda, working closely with investment funds, asset managers and financial services clients. The role is client-facing, offering real responsibility from day one – not just managing compliance, but acting as a trusted advisor. This position is particularly well suited to professionals who have:

  • Built their experience in the US or Canada, or
  • Worked within US client-facing teams in Europe (for example Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, UK or Ireland), and
  • Are now looking for a role where impact, exposure and progression are tangible rather than promised.

Your Role

  • Lead and manage US tax compliance and advisory engagements primarily for Funds and FS clients
  • Act as the primary client contact, building long-term advisory relationships
  • Review complex US tax filings and provide technical guidance across the team
  • Mentor and develop junior staff within a specialised team
  • Contribute to the growth of the Funds & FS practice, including new advisory opportunities as Bermuda’s corporate tax landscape evolves

This is a role where your judgement matters – you will not be siloed, nor hidden behind layers of hierarchy. What We’re Looking For

  • US CPA (preferred but equivalent considered)
  • 5+ years’ experience in US Tax, ideally with Funds, Asset Management or Financial Services clients although training can be provided for the ideal candidate
  • Strong client-facing background, gained in the US, Canada, or US-focused European teams
  • Experience from a Big Four, Top 10, or leading international firm
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys developing others and shaping a growing practice
