Position Overview: This is a really exciting opportunity to work in a true advisory capacity. You will be soley providing tax advice to clients. They are looking for a talented and motivated Tax Advisory Manager who possesses strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of Australian tax regulations, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice. As a Tax Advisory Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax planning and compliance services to our clients, ensuring they remain in compliance with relevant tax laws while optimizing their financial position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage junior tax professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Conduct detailed reviews of client tax positions and identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities and risks for clients.
- Stay abreast of changes in Australian tax laws and regulations, and communicate the impact on clients to ensure compliance.
- Provide expert advice on a range of tax matters, including income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address complex tax issues and provide tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
- Work independently, without needing assistance from the Tax Partner, conducting thorough research and writing detailed reports for the Partner to sign off.
To be successful you will have:
- Someone who thrives on providing advice and making a difference
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, legal or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax advisory roles
- Proven experience in managing a team and delivering high-quality tax advisory services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
