As a Regulatory Compliance Executive within this esteemed organization, you will join a team responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant legal and regulatory obligations arising from the company’s licenses. Full relocation can be provided though of course preference will go to on-island candidates.  

Your Challenges:

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulations by staying informed about regulatory developments both within and outside the organization.
  • Keep abreast of evolving best practices in compliance controls.
  • Contribute to the implementation and delivery of compliance programs, and compile comprehensive compliance reports.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s operations, and effectively communicate relevant information to key stakeholders, offering recommendations as necessary.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement compliance-related policies, conduct internal compliance reviews, and perform gap analyses.
  • Prepare risk assessments to facilitate informed decision-making regarding risk mitigation.
  • Compile regulatory reports, including information requests, data, and responses to Consultation Papers, as required.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and conferences to exchange information, foster relationships, and contribute to the team’s and company’s interests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, law, or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to investment services.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents and preparing license applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other major office suites.
  • Ability to comprehend and navigate compliance matters in various international jurisdictions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, demonstrating integrity and maturity.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, enabling the management of multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a can-do attitude and a commitment to career development.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
