As a Senior Manager specializing in Forensic Accounting with a focus on Counter Fraud in the not-for-profit sector, you will play a crucial role in leading investigations, implementing counter-fraud strategies, and providing expert advice to our NGO and government ministry clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Lead and manage forensic accounting teams in conducting investigations related to fraud, corruption, and financial misconduct.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive counter-fraud strategies for clients across various industries.
  • Investigative Expertise:
    • Utilize advanced forensic accounting techniques to analyze financial data, identify irregularities, and trace funds.
    • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports for clients and legal proceedings.
  • Counter Fraud Management:
    • Design and implement robust counter-fraud frameworks to prevent, detect, and respond to fraudulent activities within client organizations.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance fraud awareness and prevention measures.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Cultivate strong client relationships by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored forensic accounting and counter-fraud solutions.
    • Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Team Development:
    • Mentor and develop a team of forensic accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

    • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in forensic accounting and counter-fraud measures.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

    • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in leading and managing teams in complex forensic accounting projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of fraud prevention, detection, and response strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
    • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
    • Fluency in a second language with French, German and Arabic particularly useful.
