The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional audit role. You will lead complex international engagements involving private equity firms, alternative investment funds and asset managers, advising clients on some of the industry’s most challenging accounting, valuation, and regulatory matters. You will collaborate with colleagues across Europe, North America and beyond, helping clients navigate increasingly complex global markets while building trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Audit Manager or Senior Manager looking to work with high-profile international clients while accelerating their leadership career. What You will Be Doing

  • Leading audits for private equity firms, asset managers, and private markets funds
  • Managing complex engagements across US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP and Luxembourg reporting frameworks
  • Reviewing sophisticated investment valuations across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate portfolios
  • Overseeing SEC reporting engagements and supporting organisations operating within PCAOB requirements
  • Advising clients on regulatory developments and supervisory audit requirements
  • Coordinating international audit teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Presenting findings to senior leadership teams and Boards
  • Building lasting client relationships as a trusted technical adviser
  • Driving innovation through digital audit technology, automation, and data analytics
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing audit professionals
  • Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of a market-leading Financial Services practice

The Ideal Applicant

  • Professional accounting qualification (Swiss CPA, US CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Significant external audit experience within Asset Management, Private Equity or Alternative Investments
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or Swiss GAAP
  • Experience leading complex audit engagements and managing client relationships
  • Excellent understanding of investment funds, fund structures and valuation of illiquid assets
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for clients
  • Excellent English communication skills. German would be advantageous but is not essential
  • European or Swiss working rights essential
