Key Responsibilities:
- Working and overseeing the most unique and interesting complex insolvency cases.
- Involved in strategic direction for The Channel Islands business and marketing for the wider business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and legal representatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the insolvency practice.
- Provide expert advice on insolvency law and regulations in Guernsey, the broader Channel Islands and other offshore jurisdictions.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in insolvency preferably in an offshore environment.
- Extensive experience in insolvency and restructuring, preferably within an offshore jurisdiction.
- Proven track record of managing complex cases and leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of insolvency laws and regulations in the Channel Islands.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, CA, ACCA, JIEB recognised by ICAEW.
