This boutique advisory firm has a long term presence in the Channel Islands and other offshore centres.  They specialise in delivering comprehensive insolvency and fraud investigation services to a diverse clientele worldwide.

Are you an experienced Offshore Insolvency Director seeking a new challenge?  The successful candidate will lead and manage a variety of insolvency and fraud investigation cases, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering strategic solutions to clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of insolvency and fraud investigation cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for insolvency proceedings, including liquidation, administration, and receivership.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, debtors, legal professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on insolvency law and regulations in Guernsey, the broader Channel Islands and other offshore jurisdictions.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory documents and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and build strong professional networks.
  • Report into and receive guidance from the managing director based overseas.


  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in insolvency and restructuring, preferably in an offshore environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or a relevant insolvency certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of offshore financial markets.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
