As Global Financial Reporting Manager you will be responsible for a range of clients covering all business challenges, this is a truly varied and exciting role.
Client Lead – take responsibility and impower your team to provide full delivery of financial reporting advisory services to individual clients. Typical projects include assisting clients with changes in accounting requirements, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and restructuring.
Keep up to date with all technical developments and lead technical training for the team in order to ensure continued excellence of delivery of services to clients.
Major point of contact for financial reporting advisory clients. This includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs.
Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects, completing projects within agreed timescales and raising issues with clients in a timely manner.
Support the senior management team to win work by proactively managing existing clients and support in targeting new FR and non-FR clients.
Role model to assistant managers and qualified team members, sharing experience and assisting them to achieve their personal career goals.
Give time to other people to help them solve their issues.
Robust under pressure and manages multiple project/activities.
Lead difficult conversations and deliver constructive feedback, both to clients and staff.
ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification.
Significant previous experience in an assistant manager role or experience in a manager role, including delivering financial reporting advice to large businesses.
Extensive working knowledge of IFRSs, UK GAAP and related financial reporting requirements as well as previous experience reconciling IFRS and UK GAAP results.
Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
Experience with international groups and working with overseas companies (desirable)
