The Opportunity An international Big Four firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join its specialist Insurance Audit team from September 2026. This is the firm’s only Audit Senior vacancy and is ideally suited to ambitious accountants looking to broaden their experience in financial services while living overseas. You’ll take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, working directly with multinational insurance and reinsurance organisations in one of the most technically advanced insurance markets in the world. What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Acting as the primary contact for clients throughout engagements.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Reviewing financial statements and delivering high-quality audit work.
  • Working with sophisticated insurance and reinsurance clients.
  • Applying US GAAP, IFRS and industry-specific accounting knowledge.
  • Collaborating with specialists across an international network.

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA, CA, CPA or ACCA qualified.
  • Around 2+ years’ audit experience within public practice.
  • Current Audit Senior or experienced in-charge auditor.
  • Strong leadership and client management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Financial services or insurance experience is highly desirable.
  • Applicants must have similar market experience and therefore be trained in the UK, Ireland, Canada or the United States.
