Due to continious growth, the leading firm is seeking highly skilled and motivated Audit Managers with a non-Financial Services background to join their dynamic team.
As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the audit process for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for leading a team of auditors, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and delivering high-quality audit services. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion, in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Review and evaluate audit workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide guidance and support to audit team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business operations, risks, and control environment.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CA(SA))
- A Minimum of 5 years external audit experience
- Experience working as an Audit Manager
- Proven experience of auditing clients in non-Financial Services industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and develop a team.
