We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Company Secretary to join our esteemed client, a boutique financial services provider in the Cayman Islands. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of their growing Corporate Services team and contribute significantly to the development and expansion of their business.

As the ideal candidate, you should possess ICSA qualification and have approximately 5 years of experience in a similar corporate role. Although previous Cayman Islands experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client companies and partnerships, ensuring accurate interpretation of transactions, preparation of board/shareholder resolutions and agreements, and maintaining up-to-date company and partnership records.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses to provide valuable support in implementing employee participation schemes, sophisticated investment structures, and entity rationalization programs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing Cayman entities and their compliance issues, staying updated on the key challenges and requirements.
  • Assist junior Administrators in drafting resolutions for international finance, debt restructuring, and other financial activities.
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects as requested by Management, showcasing your versatility and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Thrive in a deadline-driven environment, effectively managing your workload and prioritizing client deliverables.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adapt to changes and the evolving needs of our business, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Ensure adherence to proper Corporate Governance standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those imposed by the Regulator.
  • Maintain accurate records of chargeable time and record time spent on various tasks.
