Key Responsibilities: As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing audit teams in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
- Conducting risk assessments, identifying control weaknesses, and proposing effective solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering high-quality service, and exceeding client expectations.
- Reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful recommendations to clients.
- Staying abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CA(SA)/CPA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
- A minimum of three busy seasons experience in external audit within a big four firm.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage client relationships effectively.
